I went to urgent care a couple times in the last few months. Each time they asked if I was current on my Tetanus shot. I told them I was not current but didn’t want the shot.
(They must get a bonus for selling the shot)
I looked up some stats later. Before the Tetanus shot, about 400 people a year got tetanus in the US, a statistically insignificant number. Since the shot, it’s about 100, again, statistically insignificant.
Since my trust of the medical establishment had downgraded from general ambivalence to visceral distrust in the last few years, you’re not poking me with any needles.
I’m considering planting a willow tree just so I can source my own aspirin.
I came across a very compelling argument that even the tetanus shot was BS.
