Day 630 of the russian full-scale military aggression against Ukraine continues.
During the day of November 15, there were 58x combat engagements. The enemy launched a total of 4x missile and 29x air strikes, 46x MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. Moreover, the russian federation launched another attack on Ukraine with S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles against civilian infrastructure in the city of Selydove (Donetsk oblast) and the city of Zaporizhzhia. Unfortunately, russian terrorist attacks have resulted in civilian casualties and injuries. Over 20x private residential buildings, 7x multi-story residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.
The operational situation in east and south of Ukraine remains difficult.
VOLYN and POLISSYNA AXIS: no significant changes. No signs of formation of an offensive group. Certain units of the armed forces of belarus continue their missions in the areas bordering Ukraine.
SIVERSHCHYNA and SLOBOZHANSHCHYNA AXIS: the adversary maintains its military presence in the areas of russia bordering Ukraine. The enemy continues its sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shelling Ukrainian settlements from the territory of russia and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. Around 30x settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Prohres, Baranivka, Turya, Stepok (Sumy oblast), Kozacha Lopan, Veterynarne, Starytsya, Budarky (Kharkiv oblast).
KUPYANSK AXIS: the enemy conducted assault operations in the vicinities of Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Ivanivka (Kharkiv oblast). The Ukrainian defenders repelled 7x attacks in the area. The invaders fired artillery and mortars at more than 10x settlements, including Ivanivka, Kyslivka, Kotlyarivka, Tabaivka, Krokhmalne, Pishchane (Kharkiv oblast).
LYMAN AXIS: the adversary made failed assaults near Nadiya (Luhansk oblast). The invaders launched air strikes in the area of Serebryanske forestry (Luhansk oblast), and Spirne (Donetsk oblast). The occupiers fired artillery and mortars at around 15x settlements, including Nevske, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Siversk, Verkhnokamyanske, Vesele, Rozdolivka (Donetsk oblast).
BAKHMUT AXIS: the invaders conducted assault operations with air support in the vicinities of Klishchiivka and Andriivka (Donetsk oblast). More than 20x settlements, including Minkivka, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, Pivdenne (Donetsk oblast) came under artillery and mortar fire.
AVDIIVKA AXIS: the enemy conducted failed assault operations east of Novokalynove, Avdiivka, and Pervomaiske (Donetsk oblast), where the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 17x attacks. The occupiers launched an air strike near Oleksandropil (Donetsk oblast). The enemy fired artillery and mortars at more than 15x settlements, including Berdychi, Lastochkyne, Avdiivka, Sjeverne, Pervomaiske, Nevelske (Donetsk oblast).
MARYINKA AXIS: the adversary made unsuccessful assaults with air support in the vicinities of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk oblast), where Ukrainian defenders repelled 19x attacks. The settlements of Krasnohorivka, Maksymilyanivka, Maryinka, Pobjeda, Novomykhailivka, Katerynivka (Donetsk oblast) were under artillery and mortar fire of the occupiers.
SHAKHTARSKE AXIS: the invaders conducted assault operations near Prechystivka and Staromaiorske (Donetsk oblast), to no success. Also, the adversary launched an air strike near Vuhledar (Donetsk oblast). Around 10x settlements, including Vodyane, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Blahodatne, Urozhaine (Donetsk oblast), came under artillery and mortar fire.
ZAPORIZHZHIA AXIS: the invaders made unsuccessful assaults near Novodarivka (Zaporizhzhia oblast). More than 30x settlements, including Malynivka, Hulyaipole, Charivne, Stepove, Pavlivka (Zaporizhzhia oblast), came under artillery and mortar fire.
KHERSON AXIS: The settlement of Lvove, Ivanivka, Sadove, Antonivka, Chornobaivka, Komyshany, Veletenske (Kherson oblast) and the city of Kherson, and Ochakiv (Mykolaiv oblast) suffered from enemy artillery shelling.
At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their offensive operation on Melitopol axis and offensive (assault) operations on Bakhmut axis, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, exhausting the enemy all along the front line.
During the day of November 15, Ukrainian Air Force launched 10x air strikes on concentrations of troops, weapons and military equipment, 3x strikes on air defense systems of the occupiers.
The Ukrainian missile troops hit 2x concentrations of troops, weapons and military equipment, 13x artillery systems, 1x air defense system, and 1x ammunition depot of the russian invaders.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has created a new mechanism for insuring ships against war risks. It will significantly reduce the current insurance premiums for carriers exporting to and importing from Ukraine by sea. The decision, which paves the way for cooperation with British reinsurance companies, was taken at a Government meeting on 14 November.
“Thanks to cooperation with the leading British reinsurers Marsh McLennan and underwriters Lloyd’s of London, ship insurance has become possible through the introduction of the Unity Facility. The total cover under this programme amounts to USD 50 million.
This decision will primarily have a positive impact on the work of grain traders. The new mechanism will reduce the cost of grain insurance by about 2.5 percentage points of the insurance tariff, which in turn will allow grain traders to save about UAH 100-140 per tonne of cargo, and in total it will bring additional UAH 4.0 billion to agricultural producers,” said Julia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine.
According to her, these funds will be allocated to farmers both in the form of increased purchase prices and additional purchases. Increasing the volume of Ukrainian exports by sea is expected to contribute to additional growth in the Ukrainian economy.
“After russia’s withdrawal from the grain deal, many cargo ships were stranded. The Government’s decision will ensure the safety of navigation, promote the stability of maritime transport and ensure the sustainable export of Ukrainian products through Ukrainian ports,” concluded Yuliia Svyrydenko.
BACKGROUND
According to forecasts, Ukraine will export about 50.7 million tonnes of grain in 2023-2024. As of 18 October, 7.9 million tonnes of grain were exported, 70% of which was shipped by sea.

Ukraine will step up cooperation with African countries. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal at a meeting with African journalists in Kyiv on 15 November.
“Today we offer our African partners to work on finding as many points of contact as possible. We sense the willingness of African countries to cooperate more actively with Ukraine,” the Head of Government noted.
In particular, the Prime Minister is convinced that Ukraine is of interest to African states as a powerful educational hub. He also said that Ukrainian IT companies were already operating in some African countries. According to the Head of Government, Ukraine is seeking to extend cooperation to public-private partnerships.
During the meeting, the participants touched upon important current issues, including the involvement of African countries in the implementation of the Ukrainian President’s Peace Formula.
“Ukraine seeks peace. But it should be a just and lasting peace. It is possible only on the basis of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s Formula,” the Head of Government noted, recalling that the Formula consisted of 10 points and its main provisions were reflected in the UN General Assembly Resolution “Principles of the Charter of the United Nations underlying a comprehensive, just and lasting peace in Ukraine”, adopted on 23 February 2023 by 141 votes, including 30 votes from African states.
Denys Shmyhal stressed that the points of the Peace Formula were global in nature and impact, and that food security was its key element. The parties also addressed the work of the alternative Black Sea grain corridor.
“Despite the blockade of the Black Sea ports, Ukraine retains the status of one of the guarantors of global food security. The lives of some 400 million people around the world, including on the African continent, depend on our food exports,” Denys Shmyhal said.
The Prime Minister also noted that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s Grain from Ukraine humanitarian initiative was currently underway. Under this initiative, Ukraine has sent 170,000 tonnes of its grain to Ethiopia, Somalia and Kenya.
