While there is plenty of evidence for assault and murder charges, sSlo far there is no evidence for a “hate crime” charge. Do you think this mob would not do the same thing to a black kid, a hispanic kid, or anyone else who tried to stand up to them on behalf of a friend?
I don’t see any reason to assume they wouldn’t mob anybody with just as much enthusiasm as they did this one.
