“So, based on the Koran, it is entirely reasonable for me to be an “Islamophobe”.

Factually, yes. But I didn’t post these for you to make a decision on where you are going, I posted them to display where they’ve been for 2000 + years and at this point, don’t seem to wish to vary in their thought. There is nothing in the information I passed that doesn’t appear to be happening right now.

You don’t have to be an islamophobe. An islamophobe is defined by Oxford as a person with a dislike of or prejudice against Islam or Muslims, especially as a political force. You do what you wish. But even if you make friends with them, they will lie and use you until they don’t need you and then they will kill you last if for no other reason than you are not islam, the same as they slaughter people now. And that ain’t new news. The only thing they are not to be considered a cult is size. They fit the other criteria.

Well I have never believed Islam has any peaceful intent of any kind. Any I have always believed Islam recommends lying to achieve its ends. We were part of People to People at Fort Leavenworth. No one wanted to sponsor officers from certain Middle East countries, so we did. We loved the people from Jordan. In contrast, the officer from Saudi Arabia wouldn’t even sit next to me at a formal dinner because he might get contaminated by an American blond woman. They didn’t like our dog. They wouldn’t let their kids play our piano because music is verboten in Islam. It was a struggle. The wife and kids were terrified of the husband. When all the ladies went up to Leavenworth for a fashion show, the Middle Eastern officers’ wives prevented some of the other officers’ wives from applauding for the Israeli officer’s wife. Real eye opener.

“phobia” is supposedly Greek for an ‘irrational or excessive fear.’ But some fears are rational and reasonable, what is the Greek word for them? I don’t claim to know Greek, but my understanding is that the roots of phobia in Greek also trace to Phobos, the mythological son of Ares and Aphrodites. For whom the larger moon of Mars is named. Its smaller moon is Deimos, named for his brother. The ‘sons’ were thought to provide differing aspects of ‘fear’ for their war god father. So I’m guessing and extrapolating “deimia” might mean a reasonable fear. In which case those who think fear of Islam IS reasonable should be embracing “Islamodeimia.” If anyone who knows Greek properly knows of more accurate terminology please correct me; but there should logically be another greek word for reasonable fears and those who reasonably fear Islam shouldn’t be tarred by the ‘unreasonable’ implication of the suffix in Islamophobia.
