Some German men divorced their Jewish wives. Some German women protested and got their Jeeish husbands released. Again, I don’t know how the numbers compared.
When Hitler initially tried to ban all Jews from serving in the Wehrmacht, President Paul von Hindenburg was horrified. Despite being antisemitic himself, he demanded that Jews be allowed to continue to serve. Hitler's plan got swept under the carpet for a while, until he died, and then Hitler took over that post and ran with it.
With Hitler's racial laws, it was forbidden for German men to have sex with a half, quarter, or Jewish woman. A so-called "full blooded" German couldn't serve in the military if he was married to a half, quarter, or full Jew. He had to make a choice, divorce her, or leave the service.
