She’s already lost. The minute a conservative tries to work across the aisle she is already outrun and outgunned. A conservative cannot meet half way with a liberal. Liberals think like a terrorist in that they are not going to compromise unless they are getting something they would lioke and if it is more damaging to the people during the transaction, they don’t care. Liberals are not to be trusted.
The only way she is going to accomplish anything is to publicly nail the libs on any topic that is in question. They have to be exposed on each topic for both what they are trying to do and what they are getting in return for a small concession. And that means every time. No deals. Everything up front and transparent.
The last conservative politician to not take prisoners or make deals was Teddy Roosevelt. But that was 115 years ago when he left office. A lot of damage has been done since then.

I recall when skeamer and pilousy were invited to Oval Office to “discuss” the budget. They figured they had him two to one. When they got there trump had the tv cameras set up to air their discussion. They both tripped over each other getting out the door. Libs never want their tactics aired.
She doesn’t have any Republicans to work with. To get anything done, she will need to have to work with the other side on some things.

Marmorato should take a look at what Nikki Fried did in Florida. She was the lone Democrat holding statewide office (agriculture commissioner). Did she say she would work with Republicans? No, she used her position to bash DeSantis at every opportunity she got and pushed for Democrat agenda items that were within her departmental jurisdiction.
Fried knew she was behind enemy lines and did her best to tarnish DeSantis because the Democrats knew he was a rising star in the Republican party. She even gave the keynote address at the DNC convention in 2020.
That's how it's done when your constituents vote for change (except that Floridians didn't know what they were getting with Fried, who ran on a platform of medical marijuana).
Bronx voters didn't pick Marmorato for her to immediately say she would work with the other side. If that's what the voters wanted, they'd have chosen another Democrat.
