It looks like we men have over a 50% chance of having our prostate cancer be partly treatable with metformin.
Although the tests worked with mice and human tissues, the kicker was the human use, as stated in the last two paragraphs, above.
Didn’t they take a brand of Metformin off the market because it contained carcinogenic particles? My sister-in-law has been on it for years, and she’s always suffered from stomach cramps and diarrhea with it. It’s one of the known side-effects. I was on it briefly many years ago, and had the same problem But hey, if it can help you with prostate cancer, you can forget about the long list of side effects, right?
The inexpensive magical Metformin strikes again!
So when will it suffer the political fate of hydroxychloroquine?
Great info, thanks for posting.
I read your posts more than I do the journals now :-)
This has been known for at least a decade.
I used to take Metformin for my diabetes. Horrible stuff. Gave me acid reflux that tasted like industrial floor cleaner. Happy was the day that I could go on injections and quit taking it.
Metformin is a good drug, but a combination of IP6 and curcumin is likely even better.
The public needs to get this through their thick skulls. Cancer is NOT a genetic disease. It is a disease of cellular energy. Metformin proves it.
