The CPUSA merged with the Dems.

There are at least 3 congressmen who have received special awards from CPUSA.

AZ Congressman Raúl Grijalva

IL Congressman Bobby Rush

Sen. Richard Blumenthal

There may be more but those are ones I know about.

I even saw a video long ago when Grijalva received his. Video shot as he was leaving the building.
