I didn't mean to imply that all of the medications are useless, or that simply good circumstances are sufficient. I had a cousin with a great job, wonderful wife and two kids who struggled with depression for years and finally shot himself. So it's not a joke.

However, I do think that US doctors and pharmaceutical firms push mind altering drugs out like candy.
