You are correct. Witness the smash in grab in Naperville at the Apple store. Monday morning at around 0600 (police shift change??) the perps used a stolen vehicle (from Lisle, town next door), crashed thru the front store window. Perps stole a bunch of Apple products and escaped in another vehicle. At least no one died.
When the trashoids did that in Philly recently, the Apple store disabled all the stolen devices remotely. It's going to take awhile for that possibility to trickle down to the trash roots.
