It is fun. and here is the deal. Classics were built to be dependable and last sometimes three generations. If one was to dump 20k into a classic they would have a real car made out of real metal that will last the rest of their lives.
A 1966 is ten times the vehicle they make now. And it is EMP proof. Only one problem, most had manual crank up windows. Now days most are so lazy this would be a deal breaker... lol

Detroit built cars in the 50s and 60s to last 3 years or 30,000 miles, after which you were expected to trade it in for a new car.
There’s a reason why classics are rare. Late ‘50s Chrysler products, for example, turned into a pile of rust.
