I have seen enough video of cops repeatedly and forcefully beating cuffed immobilized citizens laying face down while the police yell stop resisting. Seems like it’s just a method to beat on already controlled suspects. Remove qualified immunity are force police to be bonded/insured. That will make a third party decide if officers are insurable enough to deal with citizens. I am tired of police treating the citizens like enemy combatants and they are the conquering heros.
It’s a fine line dealing with the criminal class and everyday people. When you lose the trust of my 82 year old mother, there might be an issue.

I AGREE! This way, when cops make "an honest mistake" it will be the insurance company paying for those court costs and claims, instead of the family of the beaten/killed victim bearing their own money towards their own court-ordered rewards!
