Wouldn’t traveling too far east or west too quickly have the same effect? Better stay in your longitude just to be safe.

The biological clocks of some people can probably adapt more easily to going on or off of DST faster than for others. Some people on transoceanic (or transcontinental) flights can adapt to the time change better than others. Army and Marine basic trainees get adjusted really fast to earlier wake-up times with the melodious greetings of their Drill Sergeant pierced their ears (at least that’s the way it was half a century ago).

Ask parents of newborn children about adjusting to changes in their biological clocks for those early morning feeding schedules.
