Back in 2006, in woke CT, my 15 year old daughter got slammed to the pavement and broke her jaw, due to the running one lap of the track with the boys. End of P.E. that day and teacher said to all kids, one lap and back into the locker room. Co-ed is great isn’t it.
Unbelievable. Hopefully fully healed without any lingering discomfort.
I homeschool. Partly because if this happened to one of my girls it would end with me, the coach, and two butterfly knives.
And we’d boogie, oogie, oogie, til he just can’t boogie no more.
I didn’t know running laps was a contact sport. Hope she healed well.
