Even though the Supreme Court ruling, Citizens United wound up hurting the Tea Party candidates, I could see this legislation hurting Republicans as a whole. If you limit the amount that corporations can donate, then look at what we are up against with Democrat candidates and their funders.

It’s not a problem. Campaign staffs are who that money funds, and you don’t really need those nowadays. Trump proved that — which is largely the source of Never Trumpism in Washington.

Part of the problem is the idea that such groups have rights, and that has helped destroy America. It seems that such corps, are able to funnel and donate more than the individual; all free people should be upset about that.

I doubt anyone would argue that we are in a better spot post corporate givings changes. All I see is woke multinational corps getting sweet tax breaks and other goodies, and having a larger say in our cultural rot as a whole.

Does this legislation limit what unions can donate?? Unions always donate to rats- against the wishes of many members
