if you have good knees, squat is out for me

often people have knee issues because of the extra weight. If you lose some you might notice how much easier everything is (even getting up from a chair)

I mean “think about it”, if I put 20 pounds of dumbells in your lap how hard would it be to get up? it is the same with extra weight.

My knees are shot, too, so I do sissy squats instead. Takes a lot of the pressure off.

I do this routine on my non-equipment days and have for about three years. It's better than just sitting on your butt, and you will get some strength out of it, but you will not even come close to losing that weight he claims. So you'll get healthier and stronger, but not thinner. That takes diet changes.

I do squats in the Gym with a 10 lb kettleball, 30 reps. I have a fully replaced left knee, not an issue.
