On the instruction of the Head of State, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak as part of an ongoing dialogue had a telephone conversation with National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Republic of India Ajit Kumar Doval.
The interlocutors discussed the results of the third national security and diplomatic advisors’ meeting on the restoration of a sustainable and just peace based on the Ukrainian Peace Formula, which took place in Malta on October 28-29. Both sides agreed that the meeting was effective and had concrete results.
Andriy Yermak expressed his gratitude to Ajit Kumar Doval for his personal involvement in the consultations from the very beginning, including the participation of his deputy in the third meeting in Malta, where the five points of the Peace Formula, of which India has the most interest, were discussed.
“India has been actively participating in all national security advisors’ meetings in Copenhagen, Jeddah, and Malta. This demonstrates India’s friendly support and firm commitment to the principles of a just peace, the restoration of the UN Charter, and international law,” the head of the Office of the President said.
The advisor to the Prime Minister of India noted the progress in the consultations regarding the implementation of specific points of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s Peace Formula.
Andriy Yermak informed Ajit Kumar Doval about the current situation on the front. The two sides agreed to continue substantive dialogue in the context of India’s G20 Presidency this year and other important issues on the international agenda.

“As of 01.11.2023. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, there have been 561 incidents related to mines and explosive residues of war among the population in Ukraine. Among the civilian population, 835 people were injured, of which 264 died, 571 people were injured,” the message reads.
It is noted that the incidents occurred in the following areas: fields - 145; roads - 125; courtyards - 117; forests - 91; reservoirs - 30; premises - 53.

Ukraine receives 40 French armored vehicles AMX-10RC

The Ukrainian military received 40 French AMX-10RC armored vehicles.
As Censor.NET informs, this is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the bulgarianmilitary.
According to analysts, the AMX-10RC has already been used by Ukraine during the summer counteroffensive and took part in hostilities on the front line. However, then the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost 5 such armored vehicles and it was decided to move them to the second front line.
At the same time, in recent weeks, information has begun to appear that the AMX-10RC is again being used in combat operations. And Ukraine received an additional batch of 40 armored vehicles.
The AMX-10RC was first introduced to the French Army in 1981. Its main weapon is the precision 105 mm F2 BK MECA L/47 cannon, supplemented by a general purpose machine gun 7.62 mm NF1 machine gun or 12.7 mm M2HB heavy machine gun to increase firepower.
For the main armament, the standard ammunition is 38 shells, and for a machine gun - 4000.
The AMX-10RC has a Baudouin Model 6F11 SRX diesel engine with an output of 280 hp. This allows the car to reach speeds of up to 85 km/h on asphalt surfaces and up to 45 km/h off-road. Depending on the specific configuration, the vehicle weighs from 15.8 to 22 tons.
It is known that French light tanks AMX-10 RC have already arrived in Ukraine, and some of them are on the front line.
In February, it was reported that France had sent the first batch of 14 AMX-10RC light tanks to Ukraine. Ukrainian crews have already completed a training program for these machines.

On 2-3 November, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba will pay a working visit to Berlin at the invitation of German Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Annalena Baerbock.
The head of Ukrainian diplomacy will take part in the conference of foreign ministers of EU member states and candidate countries “A larger, stronger Union – making the European Union fit for enlargement and candidate countries fit for accession”, where he will present Ukraine’s vision as a future EU member on further reforming the EU and strengthening its role in the international arena.
On the sidelines of the conference, Dmytro Kuleba will also meet with foreign ministers from a number of countries.
During his visit to Berlin, the Minister is also scheduled to meet with representatives of the German government and political circles, as well as with the management of arms manufacturers.

Salimdzhon Nasriddinov, 52, a dual citizen of Russia and Tajikistan who lives in the United States, and Nikolai Goltsev, 37, and Kristina Puzyreva, 32, who live in Canada, were previously accused of smuggling, conspiracy to violate sanctions, and conspiracy to commit fraud.
At the same time, it was revealed that another indictment was made on four counts, alleging an illegal export scheme to purchase electronics for companies in Russia involved in the development and production of drones for Russia’s war against Ukraine.
The defendants in this indictment are three Russians: Nikita Arkhipov, 39, and Artem Oloviannikov, 37, both of St Petersburg, and Nikolai Grigorev, 36, of Brooklyn. Grigorev was also arrested in New York, while Arkhipov and Oloviannikov are at large.
These defendants used a Brooklyn-registered company, Quality Life Cue LLC (QLC), to purchase components for Russian drones for a Russian entity, SMT-iLogic, which is part of the Orlan-10 drone production scheme that the United States sanctioned in May 2023.
By February 2022, the Russians had transferred about US$273,000 to QLC accounts. Almost all of these funds were used to purchase the necessary electronics in Brooklyn. The defendants in the case also discussed how they could better evade sanctions against Russia, in particular through intermediaries in third countries.
In June 2023, after a court authorized a warrant, law enforcement officers searched Grigorev’s Brooklyn apartment and seized over 11,500 electronic components that were due to be exported to Russia.
The FBI and the US Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Industry and Security are investigating the case.

US reveals Russian channel for smuggling weapons components to Russia

US law enforcement agencies have detained three Russians with dual citizenship who are accused of organising a large-scale scheme to export goods used for the production of weapons from the United States to Russia.

The US Department of Justice stated that the criminal group could have been identified through an investigation that began after US-made sanctioned products were discovered in Russian weapons.

The criminal organisation circumvented US sanctions and laws for a year, managing to send more than 300 consignments of prohibited goods worth about US$10 million to the Russian military.
“As alleged, the defendants evaded sanctions, shipping equipment to Russia vital for their precision-guided weapons systems, some of which has been used on the battlefield in Ukraine,” Breon Peace, United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, said.
To implement the scheme, the Russians used two legal entities registered in Brooklyn – SH Brothers Inc. and SN Electronics Inc.
These organisations illegally sourced, purchased and delivered millions of dollars worth of dual-use electronics from US manufacturers to sanctioned end users in Russia.
Some of these electronic components and integrated circuits have been found in seized Russian weapons platforms and signals intelligence assets in Ukraine, such as the Torn-MDM radio intelligence system, RB-301B Borisoglebsk-2 electronic warfare station, Izdelie 305E light multipurpose guided missile, L370 Vitebsk anti-aircraft missile system, Ka-52 helicopters, Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and T-72B3 battle tanks.
It has been established that Goltsev received orders from Russian end users in the defence and technology sectors seeking to purchase certain products or parts from the United States.
Goltsev then directly contacted American manufacturers and distributors, usually using assumed names such as Nick Stevens or Gio Ross.
Nasriddinov and Goltsev purchased electronic components from US manufacturers and distributors under the auspices of SH Brothers and SN Electronics and arranged for them to be shipped to various locations in Brooklyn. Nasriddinov and Goltsev then smuggled the goods to various intermediary companies located in other countries, including Türkiye, Hong Kong, India, China and the United Arab Emirates, from where they were forwarded to Russia.
Puzyreva managed numerous bank accounts and conducted financial transactions as part of the scheme.
It has been established that the defendants knew that the exported electronics had potential military applications.
All three are now in custody in the United States.
“With these defendants in U.S. custody, we have disrupted a sophisticated procurement network allegedly used to procure critical technologies for the Russian military’s advanced weapons systems. The Justice Department is committed to imposing accountability and exposing tactics used by hostile nation-states to illicitly acquire items they need to perpetuate their brutal campaigns,” said Assistant Attorney General Matthew G. Olsen of the Justice Department’s National Security Division.
At the same time, there is a suspicion that the defendants may have been part of a global procurement scheme designed to circumvent US sanctions and export controls.
“This case, once again, shows the willingness of Russia to ignore the laws of the United States, using illegal procurement networks to provide for their military. FBI New York and our partners will hold anyone attempting to procure sanctioned equipment accountable in the criminal justice system in order to protect our national security,” said James Smith, Assistant Director-in-Charge, FBI.
