It had always been my dream to visit Israel. But certainly not now.
I have an uncle that was serving in the military in 1973. He was on leave and with only his backpack decided to visit Israel. He was sleeping under the stars with nothing but his bed roll. Then the 1973 Yom Kipor war broke out and there were rockets flying over his head. He had just recently shared that story with me when I asked him to share his testimony of how he became a Christian while serving in the military.
