“Was it here in TN, the Volunteer State?”
I didn’t catch where it was. That’s right, living here we should be doing more volunteering. I know it wasn’t in East Tennessee because we’re not used to snow. If a snowflake even dares to fall on the ground, they cancel school. They don’t have the equipment to clear the roads.
Lol they’re pretty darned fast to cancel school up here, too! And we’re supposed to be used to walking through 5 feet of snow, uphill both ways! I used to walk through unbelievably deep snow when I went to grade school.
Now, a mere forecast will send out the cancellation notices! Me thinks it has more to do with teacher’s unions than it does weather. It has more to do with “whether” than “weather”. Whether or not they feel like taking the day off!
