Impeachment is what the House says it is.
High Crimes and misdemeanors are what the House says it is.
Nothing in the constituion says the bad acts must have happened while in office.
Article I, Section 2, Clause 5:
The House of Representatives shall chuse their Speaker and other Officers; and shall have the sole Power of Impeachment.
That's it.
Section 4 Impeachment The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.

The senate should have rejected the 2nd trial, as the constitution requires the CJ to preside instead Roberts bailed.

I always got the feeling that this impeachment process was going forward for the purpose of getting as much information about the criminality of the dirty Bidens out to the public through election season as possible. I thought they understood from the get-go that they’d never get a conviction. It will, however, expose the dems, including their media accomplices.
