This is an article about The New York Yacht Club.
It’s a VERY snooty place, and membership is only
150,000 to join!
But the architecture of the club is amazing!
They have a fireplace that is 25ft high and 15ft wide
and weighs 25 tons!
Check out the Tiffany stained glass ceiling is
19 by 64 ft!

That is beautiful, Ms.B. So funny....just this afternoon, Natalie and I were having a cup of tea and talking about how everything is so ugly now lol.
We were looking at pics of the European churches, with their stunning paintings and windows and carvings....and comparing them to what they call churches today. I don’t know about America, but most churches up here are so sterile, so bland, nothing at all that points to the creative powers that God has bestowed on man.
I find the beautiful statues and paintings breathtaking, and they make me think of what a Creator we have, and how He deserves His meeting places to reflect His splendor. Then we talked about music, as we listened to some beautiful concerts. Our buildings don’t reflect any beauty - they’re cold, industrial looking, something downright ugly.
That club building is beautiful. Inside and outside. What a fireplace!
