Ramaswamy is the ONLY guy I’ve heard talking about the need to get the feds under the Constitution - dismantling at least some of the unconstitutional portion. That’s good enough for me.
As to the objections I’ve heard around here, as I said, the NBC (natural-born citizen) is a debatable issue if he was born on U.S. soil to parents who were here legally (not necessarily citizens).
The non-Christian thing. How do we know he’s not a Christian? There are a lot of modern-day Pharisee types here who make up their own rules about what is required to be a born-again Christian. My Bible says, “Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved” (Romans 10:13). If he’s done that, he’s a Christian.
Even though I don’t know now whether he’s a Christian, what he says is exactly what I want to hear from a prospective Trump VP (the presumptive 2028 frontrunner).
I didn’t know Trump was a Christian at first, I just liked the guy and what he was saying and doing.
I also love what Vivek is saying, but what constantly comes to my mind is that talk is easy. How does anyone know what he’d do in office? I suppose as VP as opposed to being elected, that gives President Trump and everybody else 4 years to watch him. OTOH, we watched Pence be a decent VP for 4 years, only to stab everyone in the back when the time came to stand up.
Vivek is a Hindu. He talked about that recently, although I haven’t really paid attention to it much. TBH, I’ve wondered if Vivek is somehow not already working for Team Trump. He’s rather like a proxy, out there pushing Trump’s message (even in the debates) and neither one of them attack the other.
At the very least, he’s so smart and so quick, he deserves to be in the administration. Perhaps rather than being a Christian, per se, it’s more important to not be anti-Christian. Not unlike Cyrus.
