I was a big supporter of her until this summer . . .
Since then I became ‘leery’ . . .
Now, she has come in to the sights of my periscope . . .
Not real sure what is going on . . .
Saw “D” signs in the yard of a local Repub leader here - - that really surprised me . . .
There was a lot of emotion about a CO2 pipeline project coming in to parts of the state and the company wanted to use eminent domain on farmer’s properties . . .
Reynolds ‘sided’ with the utilities board who had CO2 pipeline promoters embedded within the board.
ULtimately, the company just announced they were abandoning the project due to protests from farmers and citizens.
A long story on that topic, but, for now it is over.
Not gonna waste my time looking, but wondering if any connections with CO2 storage companies and DeSantis . . .
Our T-Party meeting last Monday ‘invited’ a DeSantis spokesperson to speak - - no one showed up.....
Our T-Party group has many farmers and many anti-pipeline activists who travelled to local, regional, and state meetings protesting the ‘right of a private company to exercise eminent domain on private property’.
The list of issues with the pipeline were many, varied, and, in the end, all True.
Back to Reynolds - - It will be VERY interesting to track this move since she ‘was’ a rising star. A couple of years ago she gave the rebuttal speech after the State of the Union. She was great then.
Alas, many fall in battle, many follow unexplored paths, many run in to dead ends and ambushes and suffer accordingly.
