Zelensky’s looking for some loose change.
From all of us taxpayers.
Right. They get all bent out of shape when we remark about foreigners trying to overwhelm this site with foreign propaganda, but they push Ukraine nationalism on here daily and never show the remotest support for *our* country. They just want our country’s money.
This is an American forum, not a Ukrainian one.

Domestic de-mining drone ST1 is being tested in Ukraine - Fedorov. PHOTO

A domestic de-mining drone ST1, an autonomous drone for searching for mines, is being tested in Ukraine.
This was announced by Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, Censor.NET reports.
“ST1 is an autonomous drone for searching for mines. It is equipped with an inductance coil and sensors that allow it to fly around obstacles at low altitudes. It also has a powerful microcomputer on board that processes and transmits data to sappers in real time.
On average, ST1 is 4 times faster than a human. This will significantly speed up the process of de-mining Ukrainian territories and make it safer. For example, sappers of the State Emergency Service, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the National Police will be able to control a drone from a safe place and search for mines,” the statement said.
In addition, Fedorov showed a photo of the finished experimental sample and noted that the developers are actively testing it in the field. The team collects feedback, works on improvements, and prepares to scale production.
America can never hold Ukraine. America has not thought this out when they provoked this war. Russia will become China in the future. And China or Russia will keep the Crimea. China wants it. And Russia needs. it. Remember China is a massive number of people. And Russia is a massive amount of land and resources. The two have to come together. Yes someone will win, and someone else looses. The answer will be that China wins. People is more powerful than resources. Whether the Chinese government can control their people outside of China is another issue. Japan, Korea, Taiwan, have all separated from China. And China is having a hard time even holding places like Mongolia. So its not clear that China can control their people when there is no family to threaten. Of course they are good at buying off many people even, Americans. China does not believe in any morality except that might makes right. There is no other moral value to the CCP.

Militants Take Over Christian University in Ukraine
Insurgents gain control as thousands flee the city of Donetsk.

Donetsk Christian University
Pro-Russian insurgents in eastern Ukraine have reportedly taken over a Christian university in the major city of Donetsk and are using the university to house insurgents in preparation for battle.
“They want to accommodate more soldiers, so that place becomes the number one target for the insurgency,” said Sergey Rakhuba, president of Peter Deyneka Russian Ministries and a former board member of the university. “If the Ukrainian army attacks, this Christian university would be destroyed.”
Separatists attempting to gain control of the city are using Donetsk Christian University and Gloria Christian School for accommodations, Rakhuba told Mission Network News. Insurgents have also overtaken several other public buildings in the city. Around 20 staff members and their families were initially trapped inside the buildings but were then allowed to leave, Rakhuba said.
Rakhuba says he is concerned for the safety of campus buildings and people in the area during the ...
This invasion would NEVER have started if Putin only had to honor the 1994 Budapest Declaration’s commitment to Ukraine’s territorial sovereignty and national unity.
The Budapest Memorandum on Security Assurances comprised of political agreements signed at the OSCE conference in Budapest, Hungary, on 5 December 1994, to provide security assurances by its signatories relating to the accession of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT).
These three memoranda were originally signed by three nuclear powers: the Russian Federation, the United Kingdom and the United States. China and France gave individual assurances in separate documents.
HOWEVER, PUTIN DOESN’T HONOR HIS COMMITMENTS.
The Treaty on “Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons and effectively abandoning Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine nuclear arsenal to Russia and Russia AGREED to:
-Respect the signatory’s independence and sovereignty in the EXISTING BORDERS.
-Refrain from the threat or the use of force against the signatory.
-Refrain from economic coercion designed to subordinate to their own interest the exercise by the signatory of the rights inherent in its sovereignty and thus to secure advantages of any kind.
-Seek immediate Security Council action to provide assistance to the signatory if they “should become a victim of an act of aggression or an object of a threat of aggression in which nuclear weapons are used”.
-Refrain from the use of nuclear arms against the signatory.
-Consult with one another if questions arise regarding those commitments.
IT IS WELL KNOWN GLOBALLY that PUTIN could stop this INVASION any time by withdrawing military troops.
He won’t.
Putin just keeps letting those dead bodies pile up. It’s not like he cares about the Russian population or military.
“Regarding Minsk Agreements”
Ukraine is merely a continuation of Putin’s pattern of “Transnistrian” policy. Putin has also managed to control ‘zones’ of frozen conflicts in Moldova (Transnistria region), Georgia (Abkhazia and South Ossetia), and now with in Ukraine annexed Crimean peninsula and the Donbas.
Putin uses this wider pattern of “created” separatist conflicts to create corruption and criminality as ‘Trojan horses’ to block progress in reform-minded periphery countries. This is the Putin tactical part of his geopolitical strategy that CREATES conflict zones to prevent countries from entering NATO and integrating into the European Union.
These CONFLICTS by Putin is part of his ‘imperialistic plan’ to regain strategic points of the LOST RUSSIAN EMPIRE.
So, for Ukraine this means Putin must fully separate occupied parts of Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts from Ukraine and recognize them as Donbas puppet republics just like Georgia’s Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
“Regarding Minsk Agreements”
The MINSK-2 merely was a second attempt to force Ukraine to accept Russia’s Transnistria for the Donbas, a “peace enforcement” to push both occupied regions back into Ukraine as Russian-run enclaves to expand Russia’s control over the internal and external affairs of Ukraine.
Do you really think Russia is giving up the Crimea? Do you really think that Russia is allowing Americans to run Ukraine while Ukraine surrounds the Crimea?
America caused a coup in Ukraine. We installed our guy. We armed his army. We infiltrated their government thoroughly. Maybe Russia was doing the same thing. I do not doubt it. But this is not a war of right and wrong. Its a strategic war where Russia needs its Navy base in the Black Sea. If they want it, we cannot deny it without massive costs.
This is not a little country verses and big bully. Its two bully’s fighting inside the house of a innocent bystander. Its very similar to the Gaza strip. Hamas and Israel are fighting it out on top of the Palestinians. Many innocents will be killed. Many locals have taken sides. Many just want the war to stop.
Well: YES, they are losing, not just this battle, but the war.
THE UKRAINE WAR’S “CRONKITE MOMENT”: Zelensky’s own inner circle tells TIME that the war is unwinnable. If you haven’t read it yet, this week’s TIME magazine cover story on Zelensky is extraordinary. It confirms almost everything that critics of the war have been saying, starting with the fact that it is unwinnable for Ukraine. Moreover, it goes further in describing Zelensky as “delusional” for his failure to recognize battlefield realities and his unwillingness to consider peace negotiations with Russia. Most remarkably, the sources for the article are Zelensky’s own aides and advisers. In other words, the “Putin talking points” are coming from inside the house.
The author Simon Shuster (@shustry ) previously wrote the article naming Zelensky TIME’s “Person of the Year” for 2022, so it cannot be said that he has not portrayed Zelensky favorably in the past. Presumably this is why he was granted such privileged access to Zelensky’s inner circle.
Ostensibly the article portrays Zelensky as a heroic figure forced to go it alone as times get tough and Western allies start to “abandon” him. But the truth leaks out as Zelensky’s aides pour forth a torrent of complaints and inconvenient truths. These include:
1) Ukraine’s war aims are unrealistic. Kyiv has long maintained that its definition of victory, namely the retaking of all Ukrainian territory including Crimea, is achievable with Western arms and money. After a disastrous summer counteroffensive, Zelensky’s advisers have reconsidered. Yet Zelensky’s belief in ultimate victory over Russia has only “hardened into a form that worries some of his advisors.” Shuster describes Zelensky’s faith as “immovable, verging on the messianic.” One of Zelensky’s closest aides tells Shuster that, “He is delusional. We’re out of options. We’re not winning. But try telling him that.”
2) Staggering casualties have decimated the Ukrainian army. Ukraine has refused to disclose casualty counts throughout the war, dismissing as Russian propaganda the increasingly-credible reports of hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian casualties. But another close aide to Zelensky tells Shuster that casualties are so horrific that “even if the U.S. and its allies come through with all the weapons they have pledged, ’we don’t have the men to use them.’” Shuster reports that “In some branches of the military, the shortage of personnel has become even more dire than the deficit in arms and ammunition.” According to the article, the average age of a currently-serving Ukrainian soldier is 43 and getting older all the time. The youth have already been sacrificed.
3) Morale is collapsing. Within the officer ranks, there is growing dissension bordering on mutiny. One close Zelensky aide complained to Shuster that some front-line commanders have begun refusing orders to advance even when they come directly from the office of the President. In many cases, orders are refused because they are deemed impossible.
4) Corruption is uncontrollable. It has long been taboo in Western media to suggest that Ukraine’s government is shot through with corruption. Yet a top presidential advisor admitted as much to Shuster once his audio recorder had been shut off: “People are stealing like there is no tomorrow.” After Walter Cronkite returned from his fact-finding mission to Vietnam in 1968, he concluded that the war was unwinnable. He ended his famous broadcast to the American people with this exhortation:
“it is increasingly clear to this reporter that the only rational way out then will be to negotiate, not as victors, but as an honorable people who lived up to their pledge to defend democracy, and did the best they could.”
Now that the truth is clear and undeniable, will we take Cronkite’s advice with regard to this war? Will we seek to negotiate an honorable peace and save the Ukrainian people from further needless slaughter? Or will we remain trapped in Zelensky’s bunker of “delusion” — psychologically if not physically — waiting for the inevitable end?
You’ve got a lot of nerve posting the lyrics to God Bless America.
If you had your way, this Great Country would be bled dry to feed the parasite known as Ukraine.
You love to post: Glory be to Ukraine! You claim you post these words because they are included in the article you’ve cut and pasted. Well, revmom, you don’t have to include them.
“If you had your way, this Great Country would be bled dry to feed the parasite known as Ukraine. If you had your way, this Great Country would be bled dry to feed the parasite known as Ukraine.”
And you continue spewing you sweet false comments.
Have a great night :)
“Cronkite? Cronkite!! LOL”
The original false newscaster as Barbara Walters said: She didn’t distort the news. Instead, “We put an edge on the news.”
No comments on the substance of the article, Reverend Mother?
The point of the Cronkite comparison is that is famously considered the point where average Americans turned against the war, marking the turning point where America’s involvement started coming to an end, because of lack of mainstream support by average Americans for the venture.
The claims by the author stand on their own merits.
False comments?
What else could a person deduce from your anti-American postings?
ALL for the corrupt cesspool, Ukraine, to the detriment of the USA.
