She went to Cuba and had the Cuban experience for her trip no food, water, toilet paper et al just like Cubans who live there. She probably voted for Castreau also.

You can count on that. Most serious conservatives wouldn’t be caught dead in Cuba because they tend to have a deeper understanding of the issues. I’ve seen the prices of trips to Cuba and they’re very inexpensive compared to other week-long holidays in the Caribbean (around $1100 per person for flight, hotel, meals). In addition, many liberals steadfastly believe, or at least state, that they’re helping the Cuban people by being tourists. However, the Cuban citizens themselves advertise that 51% of tourism dollars go to the Castro family, 49% goes to foreign companies, and 0% goes to the Cuban people.
Canadians are the lifeblood of tourism in Cuba and are told by Cubans that their presence only serves to further oppress the Cuban people because their money funds the repression by the Castros. Hopefully, upon hearing that, they don’t go back. I certainly don’t think this woman will return to Cuba, but it won’t be because of any moral or ideological problem.
