Every politician lies. Every last one. Anyone who believes that their favorite politician would never lie to them - well, congratulations on your innocence and child-like faith. I don't care if a politician lies to me about shoe lifts or fake boobs or hair extensions or their perfectly natural orange tan. That's personal vanity, and no one should put it past even their family and friends to lie about stuff like that - human beings lie.

I care if they lie to me about matters of policy that decide how I vote for them.
