Basically, history runs in roughly 80 year cycles (called a “saeculum” by the Romans, who were aware of this cycle) with a 20 year equilibrating cycle before the next one begins. It is unsettling to read. This is the cycle in a nutshell:
Hard Times make Good Men
Good Men make Good Times
Good Times make Weak Men
Weak Men make Hard Times

And it is very clear that we are here: Weak Men make Hard Times
Though I might add that Karens (feminists/liberal women) should also be mentioned. Their emotionally-driven nonsense has caused a lot of the mess we see today.

Yep. What we’ve been experiencing the last several decades is the disease of “Affluenza” .
The symptoms are... you don’t appreciate how well you have it, what produced it and who produced it.
The good news is that the disease contains it’s own cure in that it destroys what you don’t appreciate, causing you to appreciate anew how well you had it, and motivating you to recreate it.
Only problem is the process can be painful.

I have been a huge fan of that “Hard Times make Good Men” cycle, because I believe it in my heart to be true from what I have seen in my readings of history.
