When we had a strong economy with sensible government and intelligent honest leadership I could accept this help. Now we have a country on the brink of bad stuff and breaking our bank only expedites the issue. None of these countries should get a dime. We need to wean them off of our money and make America strong again. How many of them ever fought for or subsidized the USA?
Nobody is throwing Israel under the bus. It is expected that we will most likely have to resupply Israel with Patriot and other anti-missile missiles. Allowing this war to expand beyond Hamas isn’t good for anybody. Israel is feeling raw emotion right now and not thinking of the longer term consequences. So it’s up to the US to keep them from any actions that might set the entire region off.
I’m against all spending on wars etc. Especially Ukraine but this Hamas attack was particularly unique, in bad way. This is not a war but a necessay eradication.
