The US could have destroyed the Taliban and VC if it was allowed to fight with the rules we had in WWII. Once politicians and defense contractors were given control there was no winning.
The only other way would have been to get the nukes out and demand unconditional surrender from those groups

It’s not easy to eliminate groups like that.
I wish Israel luck and they have the right to carry out this operation.
