Enjoy your other car, your ice cream and your envious neighbors. It sounds like the car has nestled into your heart and it is excellent that we each can chose our pleasures.
I had a 73 2002. With a few mods, I had a blast with it. I remember that green color, it was very attractive.
No way would you ever charge it in your garage. They self-immolate while charging.
for that matter, you wouldn’t even park it in your garage. They self-immolate while sitting there, too, though not quite as often.
The old, who have seen through the hypocrisy of courts and statesmen, die, and leave no wisdom to their sons and daughters.
Or, as time has gone on the sons and daughters don’t listen because they’ve had it so good, they know everything. Until the WiFi and electricity goes out.
No gas cars soon. The only option is EV’s nobody wants to buy. Then what?

People will be forced into 15-minute cities.

BMW has so many problems other than their EV platform.
Ugly is one of the big ones.
Unreliable past 30k miles is the other.

10. EV’s are very heavy. F=MA. Accidents in EV’s are much more violent and dangerous.
