Back in the day, if a soldier wrote an NSF check, accidental or otherwise, the UCMJ was trotted out to step all over his day. Wonder what the penalty was for this show... Anybody get fired? Just askin’...

Speaking of taxes, I have read several stories that they are not sending out some taxes due back either.
Evidently that depends on why you are. I know someone that hasn't paid taxes or even filed for 9 years and makes over 100G a year.
I was 213 dollar off on my calculations and the IRS hammered me with a bunch of interest and a demand for payment.
I worked for NY State for 25 years. If you worked overtime, it took them 6 weeks to pay you for it, but if you owed them money, because they overpaid you for something, they took it out the next paycheck.
