For the most part, the early Jewish immigrants to this county ( and some were pre-Revalutioary War ) were not Dem voters, though some in the South were.
The later influx from Russia, Poland, and some German brought their Liberal/Marxist/Socialist/Commie ideas with them and handed it down to their progeny...in spades.
And later, as more and more Jews stopped being religious, in ANY way, these descendants became even MORE firmly rooted in their extreme left convictions.
It took the Irish Catholic immigrants and their progeny ( who all came much earlier than the Jews ) well into the 20th century for many to become GOP voter and then, again, not all.
And the same is true for the Italians, who came a bit later than the Middle European Jews, who were GOPers from the 1880s.
OTOH...Messianic Jews, the Orthodox, and the Hassidim have always been GOP voters.
This is a far more complex topic than all of you appear to realize.
And who votes for which party, re this discussion, also heavily depends on WHERE people lived/live.
