There are reliable reports that: (1) Russia is again recruiting in prisons; (2) that many Russian units are so poorly trained and ill-equipped that they mutiny or disintegrate in battle; and (3) that Russia is summarily executing troops that retreat. These are not indications of military success.

I was at two Churches Thursday. One to help the poor with donations of food and clothing the other on grounds to place flowers on a grave and prayed at both places. There was a needy group I thought was speaking Ukrainian but it turned out they were Russian. God Bless them.

By way of addition, Russia has also been sending reservists to fight without any refresher training, which causes higher loss rates. Russia is even processing teens through training centers to prepare them for service in Ukraine as draftees. For Russia, the invasion of Ukraine is a Forever War that can neither yield victory nor a truce nor anything else that suggests failure.

I suggest reviewing the populations of Russia and The Ukraine to ascertain which one is rapidly losing population and basic manpower. The Ukraine is having to forcefully conscript individuals, now old men and teenage girls. Their collapse is imminent, only propped up by billions of American taxpayer dollars we the people do not approve sending to its dictatorship. Now that the Israel “thing” has become front and center, Zelensky will only become more desperate (as if he hasn’t already). He won’t ask for peace, because he loses his dictatorship once that happens. He’ll keep sacrificing his hapless citizens to the last until he’s finally stopped.
