It’s evident Hollywood has been concentrating on pushing social messages over entertainment for some time. Which is why movies aren’t very good anymore, especially considering the amazing CGI available now.
It is not stupidity. The people who run Disney are woke true believers. The cause is more important than anything. The CEO (a BIG rat contributor himself) tried to cancel Snow Woke because even he could see it was going to be disaster but the board shouted him down. They deceived the stock holders at the last meeting with lies of omission. They are on a mission to brainwash a generation
Pretty much all current movies are too boring and lame to watch. They’re either a rehash of something, or preachy agenda driven drivel. They could literally start a new streaming service “The Propaganda Channel” and instantly have thousands of movies to stream.
Disney is insulating itself, preparing for the tsunamic economic nosedive ahead when
they release another reworked classic, “Snow Woke and the Seven Dipsy Doodles.”
Case in point: Even as attendance falters, they recently raised Disney Park ticket prices 21%.
Am I the only one that has noticed how difficult it is to find great older movies? There are literally hundreds of them but if you don’t subscribe to an oldies channel or rent them they are impossible to find.
IMO it’s mostly because older movies don’t have the moral messages they are pushing now.

Not sure what happened to TCM(Turner Classic Movies) but they have stopped showing most classic John Wayne movies as well as many others.
