Or how about all the churches shut down by the state without nearly peep for a virus whose effect was grossly overblown. You see, a true free nation allows dissent and doesn’t use state power to coerce its citizens subjects. The Russian Orthodox Church has a long and noble history. To imply or state outright that it is lorded over by Putin is simply wrong. Ukraine has put priests in prison, commandeered church property, and violated the civil liberties of its followers.
