If someone is incapable or unwilling to observe our societal norms, then they need to be excluded from our society.
The penal system cannot be viewed as a binary choice of rehabilitation of a perpetrator or punishment of him. His simple removal from society is also a desired goal.
BTW, we own a vast amount of suitable locations throughout the Aelutian Island chain.
Lots of room for migrants up that way, too.

There are vast stretches of Alaska that would be perfect.
Cold, harsh conditions...impossible for escape. It would be expensive but it could be done, I suppose.

I concur. The left cannot whine about ‘state sanctioned murder’ and if these guys are as tough as they think they are they will live. If not ... Oh well, the societal gene pool will improve.
too bad we’re on the outs with the soviet union, uh, i mean russia, because they’ve got beaucoup unused gulags in siberia that could have been rented out real cheap ...
