A great actor, and Shaft is a great movie. I was at a Philadelphia Orchestra event were they did the theme song. Incredible!

Re-watched Shaft a few months ago - it was cool when I watched it in the 70's, but it's a bad movie. Has some good action, but the plot and the dialogue are just pathetic.
Roundtree was good, though - and still love the theme - can't go wrong with anything Isaac Hayes.
