Mad Men, for the first few years before they got into the late 60s.
Mad Men was a great recreation of the early ‘60s, but it tried too hard to be politically correct and make pat little feminist lessons.
Also, I don’t think the showrunner/creator had much of an overall plot vision or exercised much control over his underlings.
