Day 606 of the russian full-scale military aggression against Ukraine continues.

The enemy continues to ignore the laws and customs of war, uses terror tactics, and attacks both military and civilian targets.

During the day of October 22, kremlin terrorist forces cynically launched another missile and air strike on Ukraine with 1 Kh-59 air-launched cruise missile, S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles and 3 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs. Air defense forces destroyed 1 Kh-59 air-launched cruise missile and 3 kamikaze drones. Civilian facilities in Kostyantynivka (Donetsk oblast), came under attack.

During the day of October 22, there were 82 combat engagements. The enemy launched a total of 10 missile and 36 air strikes, more than 35 MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and various settlements. Unfortunately, the russian terrorist attacks have killed and wounded civilians. Residential houses and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed or damaged.
The operational situation in east and south of Ukraine remains difficult.

VOLYN and POLISSYA AXIS: no significant changes. No signs of formation of an offensive group. Certain units of the armed forces of belarus continue their missions in the areas bordering Ukraine.

SIVERSHCHYNA and SLOBOZHANSHCHYNA AXIS: the adversary maintains its military presence in the areas of russia bordering Ukraine. The enemy continues to shell Ukrainian settlements from the territory of russia and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine. About 10 settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Bleshnya, Yanzhulivka (Chernihiv oblast), Stara Huta, Demyanivka, Kruzhok, Myropilske (Sumy oblast), Pletenivka, Zybyne (Kharkiv oblast).

KUPYANSK AXIS: Ukrainian defenders repelled 15 enemy attacks in the vicinities of Synkivka and Ivanivka (Kharkiv oblast). The adversary launched air strikes in the vicinities of Ivanivka and Kurylivka (Kharkiv oblast). The invaders fired artillery and mortars at around 10 settlements, including Dvorichna, Petropavlivka, Kucherivka, Ivanivka, Kyslivka, Berestove (Kharkiv oblast).

LYMAN AXIS: the Ukrainian defense forces repelled 3 enemy attacks in the vicinity of Nadiya (Luhansk oblast). The occupiers launched air strikes near Nadiya, Nevske (Luhansk oblast), and Spirne, Vyimka (Donetsk oblast). The invaders fired artillery and mortars at around 15 settlements, including Nevske, Kreminna, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Novosadove, Torske, Spirne (Donetsk oblast).

BAKHMUT AXIS: the Ukrainian defenders repelled all adversary attacks in the vicinities of Bohdanivka, Khromove, Andriyivka, Druzhba (Donetsk oblast). The adversary launched air strike in the vicinities of Klishchiyivka and New York (Donetsk oblast). Around 20 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Kalynivka, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, Andriyivka, Odradivka, Kurdyumivka (Donetsk oblast).

AVDIYIVKA AXIS: the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations with air support in the vicinities of Avdiyivka Keramik, Stepove, Tonenke, Opytne, Nevelske (Donetsk oblast). The Ukrainian defenders repelled around 20 enemy attacks in the area. Also, the adversary launched an air strike near Orlivka and Novokalynove (Donetsk oblast). The invaders fired artillery and mortars at more than 10 settlements, including Keramik, Stepove, Avdiyivka, Opytne, Sjeverne, Tonenke (Donetsk oblast).

MARYINKA AXIS: the enemy conducted unsuccessful assault operations with air support in the vicinities of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk oblast). The Ukrainian defense forces repelled more than 20 enemy attacks in the area. Around 10 settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Oleksandropil, Heorhiyivka, Maryinka, Novomykhailivka, Katerynivka (Donetsk oblast), were under artillery and mortar fire of the occupiers.

SHAKHTARSKE AXIS: the Ukrainian defenders repelled all enemy attacks near Prechystivka and Zolota Nyva (Donetsk oblast). Around 20 settlements, including Vodyane, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Blahodatne, Urozhaine (Donetsk oblast), came under artillery and mortar fire.

ZAPORIZHZHIA AXIS: the Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy attacks near Verbove and Robotyne (Zaporizhzhia oblast). The occupiers launched an air strike near Mala Tokmachka. More than 15 settlements, including Bilohirya, Orikhiv, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Mali Shcherbaky, P’yatykhatky (Zaporizhzhia oblast), came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

KHERSON AXIS: the occupiers launched air strikes in the vicinities of Olhivka, Lvove, Tyahynka, Tokarivka, Ponyativka, Barvinok (Kherson oblast). The settlements of Ivanivka, Stanislav (Kherson oblast) and the city of Kherson came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

At the same time, the Ukrainian defense forces continue offensive operations in the Melitopol axis, offensive (assault) operations in the Bakhmut axis, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, and exhausting the enemy along the entire front line.

During the day of October 22, Ukrainian Air Forces launched 7 air strikes on the concentrations of troops, weapons and military equipment of the russian invaders.

The missile troops hit 4 artillery systems of the occupiers.
