"Q Anon" and then "Q" threads . . . which were posted every few days, are each original posts - *not* "quarantined" - and were maintained admirably by Freeper ransomnote up to June 2023.
Running alongside, are an additional set of "Q ~ Trust Trump's Plan" threads that are also posted ever few days and *not* "quarantined" - and these are also maintained by Freeper ransomnote. The latest, being:

There were also "Q-anon" threads posted by other individuals.
Well that certainly explains a lot with that particular poster. He’s a “Q” guy. LOL!
Effectively, there is no difference between “Q anon Trust Trump’s Plan” threads and “Q Trust Trump’s Plan” threads as you claim. Each of these threads are just continuations of previous threads once they accumulate several thousand posts. And yes, they run concurrently.
New Q threads are started typically once a week or two, not “every few days” as you claim.
The reason such threads exist at all is that the management has made a concession to tolerate Q discussions as long as it primarily occurs within these Q threads. The alternative could be as severe as a total ban, which is contrary to the site’s charter.
That is what I mean by “quarantine”. Maybe “Q firewall” would be a better way to put it.
As someone who joined in 2020, you probably aren’t aware of the history of the Q issue at FR.
