Vax or feeble? Or both? Lol! “Sounds like hes trying to squeeze out a turd” lol and a 1/2!!
I remember when this happened quite a while back. This is not a recent event, so why post it now?
And, yes, I loathe Springsteen and have for years.
I bumped into this guy once...literally.
I was hoofing down the sidewalk going to my next service call with a handful of Dell parts not looking and i walked right into him in front of the Boston Four Seasons.
I instinctively said sorry then looked down and it was the boss!
He’s a lot shorter than i imagined.
He was gracious and said no problem man.
Not a fan though.
I knew people back in high school that would camp over night at ticket master to see this guy..
Glory daze
Bahahahaha
NEXT on LIBTARDS! Fetterman Gets A Guitar
He landed on his butt?
Couldn’t happen to a better AH.
Asbury Park and E Street shuffle were great albums. Nothing really after that.
His politics suck. I always change the radio station when I hear him.
Gee, that sure is too bad.
I’ll defend him a bit.
IIRC, I was a junior in HS when Born in the USA came out. Springsteen was already popular with many in my high school, but that album was the background of my last summer of freedom - the next summer I’d be working two jobs to pay for the coming first semester of college - because it was played constantly everywhere. A lot of the lyrics resonated with those of us growing up in small town America, along with what John Cougar was putting out at the time, and it was a bit of fresh air musically having just gone through the New Wave era especially if you weren’t into the Metal bands that were gaining popularity. Remember, there was no Internet then - you basically got to hear whatever the radio played unless you wanted to spend a fortune on records or cassettes. As a teen, clubs and concerts were basically out of reach.
I don’t know if it will stand the test of time, but it seems to me to be loads better than anything I’ve heard played on the radio in recent memory (looking at you TayTay).
That said, I grew less fond of his music after BITUSA and found nuggets on the older albums more interesting. His politics suck, but I don’t expect to buy anything he puts out anyhow. I have a lot of great memories for which he was the default background singer and I’m OK with that.
I find myself listening to him every few years for a bit. There was a long time when I didn’t listen to anything he did because BITUSA was so overplayed when I was young, but his music and lyrics still do speak to various times of my young life, sometimes bad and sometimes good.
Maybe it’ll improve his looks.
The Whale...
I can’t stand Bruce anymore. But Tunnel of Love is a great. He lost me after Nebraska. His shows are so long they become punishment.
Suppose he’s liable for murder having killed Clarence by working him to death?
No fool like an old fool.
What a shame...
I only loke one song, “streets of philadelphia.” for some reason. He and his punk commie guitarist should move their asses to a third world socialist s hole they demand on the rest of us.
The one and only thing I like of his is the duet with Jerry Lee Lewis, “Pink Cadillac”, on the “Last Man Standing” album.
The landing was much too soft for my liking.
