She didn’t have a right to demand a tip but she did deserve one. That’s a lot of lifting. Maybe if she had asked nicely. Also the white couple were wrong to say their groceries were being stolen. They weren’t. Just because merchandise was at their doorstep doesn’t mean merchandise now belonged to the people who ordered it. The delivery is complete only after the delivery driver deems it complete. A driver can decide to cancel in the middle of a delivery for whatever reason and take merchandise back to the store and he or she would be completely right in doing so

She admitted the woman paid the delivery APP, usually there is a 15% tip The delivery APP pays the driver.

You are dead wrong. Once the items were paid for, they became the property of the buyers. And they would never have been released for delivery by the store unless they were paid for, in advance, by the buyers. Nothing in this transaction is the property of the delivery driver. That moronic racist female driver needs to be arrested for theft of stolen goods and terminated from her employment. Tipping—no matter how much the driver believes she deserves one, is entirely at the discretion of the purchaser, not the driver.
