Well the white people are idiots. That’s alot of heavy items and the drivers make almost nothing. They live on tips.
If they don’t appreciate delivery service or get it, they can go lug all their cases of soda and water home.
Drivers and shoppers should be paid better.
I tip grocery deliveries generously because I hate grocery shopping and it saves me alot of time.
Where I live, cooked-food delivery people (Dominos and the like) 1. are paid 1/2 minimum wage while on delivery, 2. use their own cars, and 3. are paid a small amount per mile which might cover the cost of gas.
The grocery store delivery people were making 1.5 times minimum wage (last time I checked), drove a company van with company expensed gasoline.
Huge difference! I don’t care if you tip the grocery guys, and they certainly deserve it if they have to carry heavy items or climb stairs (or both), but please adjust your tipping for the restaurant food delivery guys!
And who’s fault is that. The company who pays the driver? She agreed to work for that pay. Maybe the government schools which did not provide an education which would allow the lady to get a higher paying position. Maybe the parents for not instilling desire to learn, work and succeed. Or maybe the concept that nothing is an individual’ fault. So many excuses, so many losers......
So making a poor career choice is the fault of who? Not to mention that a person agreed to do the job. Perhaps they negotiate the rate beforehand.
I agree with you that the customers should have tipped. But the delivery driver knew there was no tip when she accepted the order.
