Post#11 is quite an odd response to you. She will respond to a quote of hers used by you and not to the body your actual post. A thumbs up emoji directed to you? WTF? Many posts by Mommy Dearest share that peculiarity. It almost seems like AI responses. Something’s not right.

Every day Ukrainian propaganda Nazis flood You Tube with positive “news” that contradicts every other source I see so they can keep their access to American taxpayer money wide open.

TRUMP20162020 comment: “You’ve been posting this multiple times a day, every day, for like eighteen months now, shouldn’t Ukraine have pushed Russia out of its country entirely by this point?”

I gave a ‘thumbs up” to Trump20162020 comment because IMO it was silly & not factual.

RIGHT BROTHERS comment: “It almost seems like AI responses. Something’s not right.”

Right Brother has this odd peculiarity to accuse me of being AI! I should take that as a compliment! LOL

However, I did not mean to offend either of you. So, I will explain my response to you both.

I firmly believe everyone is entitled to freedom of thought and expression. Nut, not as an excuse to allow “rudeness, insults, shaming, or other censuring.”

I am not here to be responsible to dictate a viewpoint. The responsibility of each individual is to weigh information and develop their own point of view. To that point, I will not argue against a differing opinion. If the oppositional opinion is totally inaccurate. I might address a comment to “All” to gently refute the statement with a factual comment from a variety of quality sources; i.e. Encyclopedia Britannica.

I believe it is important to share current info on the invasion of Ukraine. The purpose of this daily “Update from Ukraine” post commentary-video & subsequent thread is to share information for anyone interested. Often now, Freepers will P.M. each other just to avoid the obnoxious few. I have enjoyed F.R. and have learned much from other Freepers :D

I do post daily. I have been mocked, called names & labeled. So, trust me “Mommy Dearest” is actually the least offensive! LOL

If you have been to “Update from Ukraine” you to will begin to recognize the small contingent of negative posters. I find it best to try to not respond. Obviously, I recognize their log-in when reading the thread and just skim/skip finding their comments just silly and/or irrelevant.

It truly is not my intention to vex those folks that venerate Putin. Of course, typically they are not appreciative of my post and subsequent comments. They do not comment on the post topic. Instead, often their comments are personal and directed toward me. I like to think some freepers seem to comment negatively to release their frustrations. So, at least here is that & I have helped them.

One such freeper actually would note my log-in within other forums. He would direct his critical, demeaning comments with a further demand for me to respond and answer him!

Crazy! I have since requested that he not direct any comments to me.

Russia starts evacuating Crimea, prisoners are taken out first

Russian occupiers are evacuating political prisoners from Crimea to the mainland of Russia, possibly due to the panic about their ability to hold onto Crimea when Ukrainian Armed Forces approach the Perekop Isthmus, according to the Telegram channel of the partisan movement Atesh.

“The occupiers plan to relocate political prisoners from Crimea to Russian territory in the coming days. Special wagons will be part of the passenger train Sevastopol - Moscow,” the report states.

As revealed by the partisans, the procedure itself is carried out at the railway station Simferopol Pasazhyrskyi near a pedestrian bridge.
“The composition of the opposing guard consists of no fewer than twenty soldiers and two officers,” added Atesh.
The bridge that links Crimea to Russia is still only partly in use — despite Russia’s claims it is fully repaired after an attack by Ukraine in July — and will be a “significant security burden” going forward, according to UK intelligence.

The UK Ministry of Defense said in an intelligence update that the Kerch Bridge is fully operational but is limited in its use under restrictions that were introduced after Ukraine’s first attack on the bridge in October 2022.
“Trucks and fuel supplies continue to be moved by ferry,” the UK MOD said.

Russia continues to violate human rights in the occupied Crimea. As of October 2020, approximately 100 Ukrainian citizens were unlawfully detained on the peninsula on politically motivated charges. By March 2021, this number had increased to 114 individuals. In February 2023, Ukraine initiated the creation of a separate register of Kremlin prisoners. This includes Ukrainians who were unlawfully detained due to their political or public activities.

20 Oct: RECORD. Russians Lose 1 400 MEN, 175 TANKS & BMPS IN 1 DAY | War in Ukraine Explained

I am Ukrainian. My country has been invaded by Russia. In this video I will tell you what happened on the six hundred fourth day of the war.

Day 604: Oct 20

Today, the biggest news comes from Avdiivka.

Here, more information became available about the renewed Russian offensive effort, and the results show that this was the biggest Russian disaster over the last year.

The Ukrainian General Staff reported that total Russian losses reached almost 1400 soldiers and 175 tanks and armored fighting vehicles in one day, and 65% of these losses came from two 5 km segments of the front near Avdiivka. The losses are almost 50% higher than during the first day of the offensive, which may come as a surprise because yesterday’s attack was not even as intense. However, looking deeper into the question, such losses become unsurprising.

The reason why the second wave of the Russian offensive was even more self-destructive is twofold.

First of all, there was no element of surprise. And even though Ukrainian Intelligence did know in advance about the coming Russian attack on Avdiivka, this is not the same as soldiers on the ground knowing what exactly they are going to see and how exactly to deal with it. So, Ukrainian soldiers were more prepared and understood what to do to rebuff the Russian attack more efficiently.

Secondly, this time, Russian forces failed to support their ground operations with airstrikes to the same extent because over the last 11 days Russians incurred 5 confirmed fighter jets losses and 2 more unconfirmed, meaning not only that Russians have fewer jets but also that Ukrainians adjusted and are ready to intercept them en masse.

The main goal of yesterday’s attack once again became taking Terikon, which is a 25-meter-tall artificial mountain. The main idea is that once Russian forces establish control over the heights, they will be able to control the whole region and advance in all directions. And theoretically, this makes sense because Terrikon is extremely wide and has a lot of firing positions. However, practically, this would imply storming a 25-meter-tall wall under the constant fire of Ukrainians. In the aftermath of the storming operation, some Russian sources reported that they achieved success and established control over the trees in front of Terrikon.

Simultaneously, Russian forces launched an assault across the fields in the direction of Stepove. Geolocated footage reveals that Russians increased the sizes of their assault units by more than 50%, hoping that enough of them would survive during the crossing to take the Ukrainian positions. The video shows at least 14 tanks and armored fighting vehicles, which carry up to 100 soldiers. The infantry was dropped around 150 meters from Ukrainian trenches because Russians wanted to get their vehicles back.

After that, some of the vehicles managed to escape, while the infantry got stuck in the field. I will not show you the graphic footage, but the infantry was lying on the ground because of non-stop machine gun fire, and it took just several artillery shots at the crowd to eliminate the whole assault unit. And this was just one assault. Ukrainian reconnaissance teams reported that they were sending one attack after another. Ukrainians were using all types of weapons to prevent Russian tanks from getting close.

Sometimes, Russian assault units were destroyed just several meters in front of the trenches. As one Ukrainian soldier said, Russians received such a powerful rebuff yesterday that they conducted almost no assaults today. A Russian soldier also commented about the situation and said that it’s high time the Russian Command reconsidered its approach of sending one battalion after another to hell, thinking that maybe this time they manage to entrench.

The situation in Avdiivka is so bad for Russians that the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin visited the main military Headquarters in Rostov-on-Don to personally talk with the Chief of General Staff Valery Gerasimov. The specifics of the discussion were not disclosed, however, some sources speculated that Russians expected to take Avdiivka by today. Putin also sent his regards to the commanders.

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky also had a special meeting with high commanders, and the main topic of the discussion was also Avdiivka. The Chief-in-Command Valeri Zaluzhny, who recently visited the front line, reported on the ongoing successful defensive operation in Avdiivka. So far, everything is under control.

If Russia keeps attacking and taking losses like this, it could put their hold on Donetsk city or other nearby territory at risk. Russia has lost a several Battalions worth of combat vehicles this month. They can not keep up these kind of losses.

Avdiivka has been a thorn in Russia's side since 2014. They will paying a larger price to take it than Bakhmut. Even if they take the city they can not advance past it, the same as Bakhmut.

This is a battle Russia really does not need to fight, which makes it a bad decision. No matter the outcome Ukraine can already claim a win over how much it has cost them.

No you don't. You slander opponents, bear false witness against them, imply that they're suffering from mental disease and call them Putin supporters if they oppose your views and/or Youke propaganda.

Though you do less of it since you accidentally exposed yourself doing it, you are notorious for flagging opposing comments and having them removed via a mod sympathetic to the Youke cause. That fact shows you to be a censorious, anti-Free Speech, totalitarian-minded propagandist.

You got bagged months ago and there's a screen shot of your mistake of accidentally posting in the comments section a request to your mod to have multiple comments critical of Youcrayne and Youkazoid opinions removed.

Please stop lying and gaslighting. Your act has worn exceedingly thin.

Your exchange demonstrates her "of this world" politics-as-theology, itself a falsehood. Her "supposed" religiosity in this is thereby suspect. Even the misuse of the verb, venerate, suggests how completely political her "religion" is become. Of this world. Her "kingdom" is most definitively of this world. And her current "veneration" is for a comedian and grifter.

One observes this "of this world" stance in the "open and affirming" stance of some postmodern seminaries, which like hers also, stand against traditional. Given that her current UMC persona here on Free Republic is seemingly prominent, one observes that this denomination is in the throes of schism, as are many others, led by the UCC and similar schismatic groups.

Her daily posts "venerate" not a nation -- Ukraine -- but a specific government of a nation. Her desired kingdom is "of this world."

A small thought experiment, using all threads on Free Republic as the 'sample.' Aside from UMCrev and SpeedyinTexas, both posting pro-Zelensky material, what other threads has anyone seen which evidence this behavior?

None that I have noted. These two daily threads share the multiple-comments to their own original post, a gambit elsewhere on Free Republic not seen.
