18 months ago I jumped from the big city in Central FL (where I had lived for 35+ years) to a small, rural town in NW Tennessee. It’s not necessarily my last jump, but I’ve been quite pleased with the results. Of course they can come for us anywhere in the form of taxes, inflation and regulation, but so far I’m not feeling it like the city slickers are.
I live in a small city of about 30K, but I wish I was back in the country where I grew up.
