That’s where Mark Fuhrman retired - as did lots of other retired LAPD officers - some even from OC...I guess that’s because they were “racists!” Whatever!
I was sitting in Utara Brewery on Pine Street last autumn and a full-growed moose saunters by headed for downtown. Guy sitting across from me sez, “Whatinellizzat?” We played dumb. “Man, you’ve had too much beer,” I told him.
It’ll be very cool up there in another few weeks.
I lived there for awhile and my son stayed on after I left because he had a good IT job there.

Yeah but it takes 45 minutes to get to Schweitzer and you have to know the back way by the airport to find the friggin’ road.
AND the grocery store is a relic...but some people think that’s an asset!

We live one county south of Sandpoint in Kootenai County. There are LOTS of retired LAPD AND LAFD officers here. We are good friends of the ex-Battalion Chief from LA. He was responsible for downtown LA and LAX.
