The difference between January 6 protesters and October 18 protesters, is that the January 6 protesters were demanding a return to constitutional freedoms. The October 18 terrorists are advocating for the hamas charter and the elimination of Israel as we know it.
The former is protected free speech while the latter is a call for terror.
