Alferov is a career military officer who studied at the Moscow Military Institute. They discuss the challenges and unofficial aspects of army service, including extortion of money from local residents and difficulties during discharge. Alferov tells that he was subjected to beatings and decided to contact the military prosecutor’s office. After providing evidence of his service and the actions of the command, the case was closed, and he was discharged under the article for non-compliance with the contract terms. The situation made the command of the military unit nervous.
