I went on my honeymoon alone after my husband and I couldn't agree where to go

Vienna seemed like a no-brainer destination for my solo-moon for several reasons. Firstly, it's incredibly safe — in fact, Austria is the fifth-highest country on the Global Peace Index, which measures the level of societal safety and security. Considering that I'd be traveling without my partner and that I'm a woman, this was important to me. Vienna is also known for its legendary coffeehouse culture, impressive local wineries, and rich musical history — all major draws for me as a latte lover, wine enthusiast, and professional musician.

Walked herself down the aisle, she did. So obsessed with being “independent” and “self-sufficient.” Loves wine but married a non drinker. Loves museums but married a guy who couldn’t care less. I’d say this marriage was definitely not made in heaven. Give it a year, maybe two.

I’d still make a deposit in the bank.....then I’d get up and leave her there!

They’ve got opposite interests in every single area. There’s only one reason they got married and that won’t last.

I walked down the aisle by myself as a feminist declaration of my self-sufficiency. At the first hint that your "sweetie" plans to do such a thing ...
WALK AWAY.
Make a new plan, Stan.
Get on the bus, Gus.
Or pick one of the other 48 ways ...

This isn’t a solo-moon. There was no honeymoon. Odds are that these two have been living together and taking trips together before they were married.
People these days think a honeymoon is just a vacation.
I’m a fuddy-duddy, and think a honeymoon is a whole lot more meaningful than just a trip to some place.
These non-traditional gals are getting their relationships started on the wrong foot. I’m not sure why they bothered with getting married in the first place.

It's not that she doesn't really want to be married. It's that she knows exactly what she does want. And she's lying about it. Typical, a woman making excuses for horrific female behavior. Why am I surprised.

Actually, I believe the story. I personally know of a young man who married his high school sweetheart. His family loved her. They went on a honeymoon cruise and the new bride announced she was NEVER going to have sex with her husband because she was a dedicated lesbian.
The marriage was annulled and the guy was totally screwed up mentally by the experience.

If real, there was no “couldn’t agree”. It was her refusal to compromise.
