I hope it’s a TURBO and that it doesn’t have electrical issues. The early new generation bugs were plagued with electrical issues.
Our ‘62 bug didn’t have any issues at all...except the front and rear ends wanting to swap places if driven too hard. And an anemic heater that filled the cabin with stinky hot air. And that spongy gear shift linkage to the rear transaxle. And the location of the gas tank. And high school girls not wanting to be seen dead in it. And, and, and...
